US president Donald Trump has said he will call for an end to the Gaza ceasefire unless Hamas releases all Israeli hostages by Saturday. Meanwhile, the US president has signed executive orders to impose 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminium imports, boosting safe-haven demand and sending gold to its seventh record high this year alone.
