The Effects of Night Drinking on Sleep
I would drink and it would put me out but then at three in the morning I was like wide-eyed bolt upright. The problem is you then build up a tolerance for night drinking. If you get used to drinking until 11 sleeping till 3 your brain's creating more stimulants ready for 3 o'clock when you stop drinking again. That's where you start getting serious problems then because then you're getting into the habit of waking up and drinking as soon as you're awake.
