The Importance of Product Market Fit

There's no single definition of when do you know you have predictable growth or where you have product market fit? In the boardroom, I guess for a portfolio company that's pre-series A, how does that topic come up? Yeah. And again, product market fit is often not based on revenue. We'll delay that gratification of revenue and we'll consciously decide when to switch that on, right? But be cautious and look at these underlying metrics. Like if there's no customer love, if the retention is in there, if customer acquisition costs are high,. If people can't maintain their customers because the product is in good, then you have a different problem too.
