Do You Know Your Competition?
You must be credible to get funded. If the investors find that you say or do anything during your pitch that's not the truth, you're automatically rejected. So if you have a problem or some weakness, don't hide it. Be very affront about it and they aren't likely to fund anybody who doesn't tell the truth. You have to really know your competition too. The worst mistake people make is saying, oh, we don't have any competition. They roll their eyes and say, clearly there's no market,. Or you haven't done your home work. And that's rat matter.
