Nellie Walsh, my sixth grade school teacher, who called me on the cart but one day and I was terribly surprised because I thought I was doing just the right thing. Joe Lassert, who was the director of research at Wertime, a traditional Wall Street firm, he believed deeply in security analysis. Collier Cromwell was a terrific professor of investment management at Harvard Business School. You could argue also Ben Graham and David Dodd because of their wonderful book security analysis.
