Is China a Precursor of Rapid Growth in Other Parts of the World?

One big question you write is whether China's economic achievement in recent years is an exceptional phenomenon that will not be replicated by others. There are sort of two sorts of developing countries to consider here one really big countries like India and export-reliant countries in Latin American Africa which we were just discussing. It seems to me that since China is not transforming the world system and flattening its hierarchies but instead is intensifying these peripheral countries rely on some primary good exports That makes any sort of developmental strategy to move up the value chain by copying China impossible for other countries.
