How to Get More Sleep

The key to a good night's sleep is between 18 and 25% deep sleep. Deep sleep is important for your physical body to recover, especially if you are an athlete. The REM phase of sleep is more focused on the brain so that it can locate information collected during the day. For example, when learning a new movement or fine-tuneing movements, this type of sleep is still very important.
