I generally don't show what I'm working on to anyone until very close to the end. And it's because I'm very easily influenced by people by, you know, if a single person tests it, I'll pay way too much attention to what they do or don't like. Once other people have seen something, it's like a Schrodinger's cat thing; suddenly it collapses into this particular thing that's in the world and it's not really mine anymore.
