The Imgrazing Process in the United States
Grazing allows marginal land that can be used forforcrop growth. In many cases, any of it isn't even owned by someone who's doing agriculture with it. And in the western united states, we have a huge portion of land here not suitable for crops. When you were grazing cattle on these areas that are not suitable for farming, but they're sort of meant to be grass lands, you are a providing some of the same kinds of impacts that those disappeared prehistoric animals would have been providing.
