The Pandemic and the Effects on Game Design

The pandemic closed a lot of venues as well. The stuff that is the most interesting to me about game design generally is like the kind of magic that happens in person. And I don't think we would have is going through until the pandemic happened. It was like, well, we got to make a pivot or we're going to go out of business. We had like eight studios call them TRC games and there's also crazy companies that put games in wooden cabinets. So then, this is intuitive for reasons but just to reflect what I'm hearing is that the saturated digital space feels less extreme than the physical one.
