The Importance of Sleep for Muscle Growth
As a guy in his 40s afflicted with vanity, I'm interested in what I can do around exercise and making sure that my body is strong. If you want to put on muscle, you absolutely have to sleep. When we're not sleeping enough, our body will preferentially burn muscle rather than fat. It's like memory too - it's wakefulness and sleep and exercise, wakeful and sleep. So everything works harmoniously together.
