The examples that you pull into that book and in subsequent additions of the book are from experiences that you've had, from stories that you've heard. And then you flip back and forth between the kind of anecdotal evidence and the scientific evidence. How important is it that social scientists get out into the field and observe phenomenon in the wild? That's my soapbox these days.
