What Is Duka in Buddhism?
Duka is a word used by the buddha to refer to an aspect of life that's hard to face. In our language, we call this dissociation; it happens in trama or post dramatic stress. Duka can be translated as "suffering," which has given buddhism kind of a bad name. Even those who live pleasant lives are dealing with unsatisfactoriness, you say. You know, there's always this undercurrent of what'shard to face.
