The Effects of Ketones on Cognitive Function

I don't think our ancestors, at least most of them would have walked around constitutively in a state of nutritional ketosis. So I wish we had better insight as to what our evolution would have looked like. Now the next question is how much of that is a function of the benefits you'd get from a nutritional approach alone where your ketones are endogenous versus the addition of an exogenous ketone. But again, my intuition would suggest that it's probably not an entirely unreasonable state to be walking around with a flux of intermittent ketosis.
