The Importance of Ideology in the Islamic Republic
The rise of islamism as the principal vehicle for opposition to us empire in the dominant order in the region one shouldn't overstate the extent to which these ideological the ideological clarity of some of these movements leads to totally coherent political decision making like it doesn't all stem from ideology. Different different groups within the islamic republic government have really different orientations to the idea of exporting revolution and how important that is to their idea of the revolution.
