There must be a point where you get to the point where well it would be more aerodynamic but it wouldn't be sustainable over 45 minutes so and it's just trying to hit that sweet spot. The very best people at time trialing are generally quite flexible people and they can put their body fold their body origami like into this position and still produce close to their maximum power. Other people other other athletes prior athletes just don't have those ranges of motion therefore when they fold their body into this position they start to lose power and efficiency.
