I sat down with Michael McCoy, co-founder of Prepa Pizza, to talk about how he turned a simple pizza dough kit into a multi-million dollar business. He started by making the kits in his basement with his wife and selling them at local farmers markets, where he did around $60,000 in one summer working part-time. We also talked about how he took the business online, scaled with Facebook ads, hit over $160,000 in a single month, and why farmers markets are one of the best places to test simple product ideas.
