The Benefits of the ESV for Preaching and Teaching God's Work
If you can do Greek and Hebrew, it will seem reasonable to you. Even if you want to do thematic preachings, rather than expository preaching, I think the fact that it keeps the keywords going throughout the Bible will help you doing that. There are lots of people now who've been sitting who only have one semester of Greek or Hebrew, which is next to nothing. And so they need the help of a formal, clear translation more than they need another commentary.
