The Liquidity of a Private Equity Group

I believe that liquidity is always on the horizon. What that horizon looks like, I don't know. That's a privately held company. Is there any liquidity on that stock? How would that stock become liquid for you? Hopefully, in future, it becomes liquid. The whole great compared model group is held by, or the majority owner, at least, is inside partners as a private equity firm.
