What Are Pace Layers?
The pace layer was conceptualized by Stewart Brand, I think in the late 90s. So you have to understand the pace at which change happens. You don't spend a lot of time on the things that have changed quickly. The more we can borrow from other domains and bring it into ours, the better for us.
