Is Feedback Using Surveys to Manipulate Customers?

Using a survey to manipulate customers is something that i cannot possibly recommend. Using feedback to reward or punish your staff also undermines the entire method. You get these unedifying stories of customer service wrets, saying, please, can you give me ten on the net promoters score? Otherwise i'll be punished. It's totnt do any good to your organization whatsoever. Is that something you really want to measure? I think not.
