Charge a Fee for Initial Consultations?

Shilinski: We found a byproduct of charging the fee was that it really eliminated the people that didn't want to pay for services. If you're interested in charging fees and knowing what to charge, there's a lot of great resources out there. Just make sure that you talk to your compliance and you update your ADV to mention that you are going to charge for those initial consultations.
