The Importance of Sleep Hygiene
Sleep hygiene. Two words I never heard until about three or four years ago when people started to kind of talk about it a bit. The hours before bed are really important. This is the time to be nurtured and nourished, but also making sure that our brain gets sufficient melatonin so that it can go to sleep. What you need to do is switch off or technology. Have a warm, hot shower because that sends powerful messages to your body: now its time to Sleep. Sense how much rest we're getting by not doing these things over and over again. And if per chance they wake up at three o'clock in the morning, up comes their phone and they scroll through
