Is Brain Stem Imaging a Bad Thing?
The literature out there as far as kind of incidents is inflated because most of the BPPV, right? Either people ride it out at home or we see it in primary care and nobody's aware of it. And so there are significant causes of actually mental practice because people go to the emergency room and they get some dizziness and they're sent out with BPPV. But remember that the brain stem is very packed. If something goes wrong in there you're really risk for dying. So just the final point on that is anybody who has any central nervous system symptom or sign, of course now you need really proud brain stem imaging.
