The Importance of Reading the ESV in English
A listener from Brazil asks, is the ESV suitable for young people from other countries you want to read the Bible in English? I think that question kind of gets at something said right at the beginning of our conversation about that there was this early on a global vision for the ESV. Yeah, I think the again, the durable English that could be read on any website and any newspaper and any mass media kind of way is what we're aiming at. We don't dumb it down. And so I think we treat the reader with respect.
