Historical Game Studies Is Getting Really Exciting

As a research field my areas is on what I would call kind of the design side the developer side. I'm very interested in how designers and developers act as historians and make these digital works. Historical game studies is looking at all sorts of stuff that I don't even know about yet so I'm hoping for you know a really rich and varied next decade trying to do my best.
