Pahn Lab, Bryn Fushe has a similar approach. When the emotions come up, I try to first recognize, observe the emotion coming and develop the sense of a mindful gap. And so you let go of all concepts about it and try to connect with the energy of the raw emotions. The fundamental argument that many of us would argue is that we can own these emotions and accept them as part of our lives. It's not just suffering because of them.
