The Buddhist Approach to Happiness
Everything is impermanent, unsatisfactory, and non-self in its qualities. The sooner that you can teach your nervous system that, not just consciously, but like at a deep level, then you don't attach to anything. So, that's everything both good and bad, is temporary and never enough. I think one of the ways that we stay in this hamster wheel is that our mind convinces ourselves that if we were to suddenly detach from all desire and attachment and aversion, we'd become this log That would just be pointless.
