Magic the Gathering's Proverbs

I really like Mark Rosewater the lead game designer of Magic the Gathering and he posts a lot of interesting articles. There are times where it's like and forget the negative we're gonna double down on the positive, so I don't want to lose sight of what people like in the process of taking out what they dislike. Did you have any horrible play testers who were sort of um cheesing the pause like my brother if that was a problem?
