A Passion for More: Why the Rise in Extramarital Affairs among Women?

This is a Living to 100 Club conversation about the "the passion for more" -- the increasing incidence of affairs of older women. Our guest, Susan Shapiro Barash, has spent 30+ years researching the types of affairs that women have, and is finding an exponential rise in female infidelity. We discuss some of the reasons why these affairs are on the rise. These reasons include greater longevity, increased autonomy, and feelings of entitlement and empowerment (once the sole territory of men). Also discussed are the latest statistics on female infidelity. What percentage of women will engage in an affair, how many say their lover is the opposite of their husband, how many leave their marriages vs. how many end up with their lover. And, importantly, what has our guest learned about the different types of affairs among women? Mini Bio Susan Shapiro Barash is an American author of thirteen nonfiction women’s issues books. Titles include Tripping the Prom Queen, Toxic Fiends, and You’re Grounded Forever, but First Let’s Go Shopping. She writes fiction under her pen name, Susan Marren. Susan’s books focus on the gender divide, how women are positioned in society and their innermost feelings about themselves as daughters, mothers, sisters, friends, wives, mothers-in-law, daughters-in-law, rivals, colleagues, and lovers. Medical Breakthroughs with Redox Signaling

We have two guests on today’s program, Danielle Matthews and Dr. David Silverman. To open, Danielle recounts her recovery following a traumatic brain injury sustained in an auto accident 10 years ago. The injury left her with word finding difficulty, migraines, and hyper sensitivity to noise and temperature. Her treatment consisted of a “redox signaling” solution that helps to restore communication of cells and replenish the supply of cells that gets damaged or exhausted with age. With Dr. David Silverman, we discuss the science of reduction-oxidation, and how this FDA-registered product is being used in 34 countries, with tens of thousands of people. How does this solution help the body’s natural ability to find and strengthen damaged cells. Is this an anti-aging product? Be sure to tune in. Mini Bios After experiencing a life-changing recovery from a brain injury following an auto accident, Danielle Matthews has been at the forefront of educating people around the globe for the last 7 years about the solution we are discussing today. She had a full recovery, which she had been told was impossible by her doctors. She is joined today by Dr. David Silverman who is a medical advisor at this company. Dr. David Silverman is a retired podiatrist. He owned his own practice and surgery center in Maryland. However, when he discovered alternative medicine, something in him shifted. He eventually sold his practice and went into being a full time entrepreneur working with alternative modalities. Twelve years ago, a friend shared the breakthrough of redox signaling with him, something he initially looked at for his father. After he saw undeniable results, he explored the people behind the technology and decided to align with them. He sits on the Medical Board of the company now, ASEA, and has been educating people on this topic globally for over a decade.  For Our Listeners Product website: DiscoverRedox.com On Instagram: @_daniellematthews_ To ask Danielle questions about using redox yourself, click "Contact Me" at: Livingto100Club.teamasea.com
