Chris spent four years at art college studying graphic design and photography, often bunking off to spend extra time in the dark room printing up his work. After art college he landed a job at the world’s biggest advertising agency, Saatchi & Saatchi, where, as a designer, he got to commission and work with some of London's best photographers.From the year 2000, while working as a graphic designer, backpacking around the globe and starting a family, Chris let photography fall by the wayside. But a trip to Arles in France in 2016 changed all that. His photography came more to the fore in 2009 when he bought a little M8 digital camera. Interestingly, Steve doesn’t see himself as a photographer and merely carries his camera to shoot and capture the things he sees while out walking inner city London.His work is predominantly in colour, with a smattering of BNW images, that shows a keen eye for composition and a level of intricacy that has you going back to his images over and over again.
