<p>This week we have two guests, both actively involved in the work and mission of church life on the ground. The R.J. Heijmen works at St. Martin’s Church in Houston, Texas. His responsibilities there include Stewardship and oversight of all Christian Education Ministries of the Parish. He continues to play a supervisory role in Student Ministries and is a regular participant in the Family Table service. However, in this interview he talks more about his work before St. Martin’s, when he attempted to plant a church in the heart of New York City. Rick Heltne is partner in the firm SIMA Partners for Churches, whose mission is to serve as partners in the crucial journey of churches in the midst of leadership transitions.
