Samseau is one of the people who helps run Christ is King, a conservative Christian men's forum that is the successor to the Roosh V Forum. The Roosh V Forum was a website run by Roosh (who would have guessed) that originally was a red pill forum that focused on teaching men how to have successful relationships. The "red pill" eventually morphed into more that finding out the truth about relationships and became more of a euphemism for the truth about everything else from politics to nutrition. When Roosh converted to Orthodox Christianity the forum reflected that conversion and became an explicitly Christian forum. When Roosh decided to leave public life, he blessed the community of his old forum to create a successor forum, which became Christ is King. This episode aired on YouTube on Dec. 31, 2022. I am going to begin uploading some of my old solo episodes that I made when my channel was new and still growing. This episode dives into the calendar question regarding the "old" church calendar and the "new calendar." I will go into the history of how the new calendar came about and why it is inferior to the old calendar.

Last week we went live for an open mic and it turned out well. This week we will have a similar format and will be taking calls live. Subdeacon Martinian is the young boy (shown in the picture in the thumbnail) who was baptized by Blessed (St.) Seraphim Rose. Martinian is a member of my home parish who received his spiritual formation at the St. Herman of Alaska Monastery in Platina California. As I was growing in the Faith, Martinian was there as a spiritual friend to me, and after my parish priest and spiritual father he probably bears the most responsibility for my own spiritual formation. For a long time he was the choir director of our parish, and he taught me how to chant on cliros. During this time he would often bring up stories from his past experience at the monastery, which was the time that is now referred to by people who were there as "The Platina Days." In todays interview we will hear the story of how Martinian came to the faith, the story of his baptism, and what is was like during those days which were such an important part of the history of Orthodoxy in the English speaking world. Joseph Sciambra is an Orthodox Christian and the creator of the non-profit organization Sons of St. Joseph. This organization was created with the mission of helping Christian men overcome all same-sex attractions and any persistent attachments to the homosexual or the “gay” orientation. Joseph himself used to live a "gay" lifestyle but is now living a chaste life by the Grace of God. In this podcast we will hear from Joseph the story of how he survived childhood sexual abuse at the hands of a Catholic priest, and how this experience led him to a life which sounds like it was truly a living hell. His story can give hope to people who are struggling with same-sex attraction, because it shows that it is possible to overcome this passion of the soul. Beyond hearing Joseph's story, we will dive into the work that Joseph does with his organization. We will discuss common questions about homosexuality such as: Why do people become "gay"? WARNING: FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY I was recently contacted by the owner of New Martyr Press and asked if I would like to interview the author of a new book that they had published titled "Outside of the World." The book deals with the story of a young woman who was born with parapsychological abilities such as the ability to know what was going on inside of another persons head. In this episode the author of the book, Justine Alter, gives a riveting account of what she went through before converting to Orthodox Christianity. She was a globally renowned psychic, an extreme music artist, a dangerous cult leader, and an occult pop culture icon, but she left all of this behind in order to follow Christ. For the sake of the safety of the people who are around her we have concealed Justine's identity in the interview. There were a few times during the interview when we had technical difficulties, which are mostly edited out. One of my favorite account to follow on X is Fr. Michael Lillie. His posts are always edifying and on point. On a platform which thrives on negative attention, he has managed to build up a sizable following without engaging in negativity. In all the time I have been following him on X I have never once seen him fall into a passionate disagreement with another user. He sets a wonderful example for other Orthodox Christians who choose to use this social media platform. Fr. Michael is rector of Nativity of Christ Orthodox Church in Youngstown Ohio. He is a graduate of St. Tikhon's seminary and was ordained to the priesthood in 2013. In our interview today we will find out about Fr. Michael's background before we dive into his approach to using social media to spread the faith. He has a YouTube channel which hosts his sermons and talks about the faith, and also runs an online store called Orthodox Warrior Apparel. Fr. The Bitcoin halving is less than a month away and soon crypto is going to enjoy a fresh new buzz in the news media. This cycle is poised to be stellar because of a number of factors, which we will discuss. Traditional finance has finally come around to embracing crypto with the launching of Bitcoin ETF's. Macro economic factors such as the upcoming presidential election and the loosening of economic policy by the Federal Reserve mean that financial markets are going to become more open risk-on assets. Combine that with the reduction in the supply of new Bitcoins due to the halving and we see that crypto is poised for another leg up. I have been paying close attention to the crypto markets and I will be giving my thoughts on the subject. Recently, by chance, I got involved with the marketing team of a "meme coin." Beyond what I have described in the paragraph above, I will give my thoughts on the current memecoin mania and explain why I am trying to come up with an idea of a memecoin myself. It has been a few weeks since I have streamed and I didn't want to leave my audience for too long without something to watch.
