I met Val at the recent St. John Brotherhood retreat on Vashon Island. He makes educational content on YouTube and Instagram, with a focus on refuting heresies in Islam. He is of Ukrainian descent and spent some time recently volunteering in Ukrain. In today's interview we will meet Val and hear the story of his volunteer work in Ukraine.

Much to everybody's surprise Donald Trump launched his own memecoin during the Presidential crypto ball which was held last Friday in DC. The next day Melania launched a memecoin. Both coins surged to billion dollar valuation almost immediately. We will discuss these events in tonights stream, as well as the ethical implications of these actions and what they mean for cryptocurrency.

We will be reacting to recent statements from the ROCOR Synod regarding Brother Nathanael Kapner. Brother Nathanael announced that he would be leaving ROCOR after the statement was issued. We will be reacting to the statements from the Synod and from BN. I will open up a space on X during the stream so that viewers can call in and express their views.

He is also spearheading an initiative called the Bored No More Network, an effort to bring together Orthodox content creators with the goal of vanquishing boredom (or, in other words, to put an end to idleness). This is a noble and lofty goal, and I fully support the idea behind it. An Expose on Brother Nathanael I interviewed Brother Nathanael a number of times on this channel. In my interviews with him I tried to get to know him as a person. Since he has extensive knowledge and understanding about the bible I tried to get him to talk about those subjects, instead of his usual fare, which is politics. My personal interactions with him off camera (and sometimes on camera) were often quite difficult because of some of the traits of his personality. The more I got to know him, the more difficult it became to interact with him. He is quite manipulative towards those who he deals with, and tries to use people to achieve his personal aims. This video was filmed as a response when he flew out to my area and began to interfere with the spiritual life of people who were close to me. His visit was a monumental disaster. Everything that is discussed in this video is backed up with evidence which is shown in the video. Nothing that I say isn't already known to people in the Church who have been aware of Brother Nathanael's activities over the years. The video is a warning for people so they might not get involved with him on a personal level.

It is common knowledge that the Holy Mystery of the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Christ, presented to the faithful in the form of bread and wine. Many people by this time have also heard of celiac disease, an auto-immune condition in which people react to gluten, a protein found in wheat. The flour which is used to create prosphora must be of wheat according to the canons of the church, and it is this prophora which is transformed into the Body of Christ during the divine liturgy. What are people with celiac disease to do if they want to receive communion, since they normally react to the gluten contained in wheat? This will be the subject of today's stream. An article was recently published on OrthoChristian.com regarding a statement that had recently been made by the Russian Orthodox Church’s Synodal Commission on Bioethics. The statement said that the faithful can commune of the Blood of Christ. This statement was criticized by many of the faithful who read the article because they hold to the belief that it is not possible for a person to become ill from taking the Eucharist. Many Orthodox Christians report that they are able to partake of the Body of Christ without suffering the effects that they normally would on consuming bread. I had an opinion contrary to the prevailing sentiment of these criticism which were voiced on line which is based on my own personal experience with celiac disease/non-celiac gluten sensitivity. I will share those views in this stream.
