Meanwhile, he's gotten a few interviews while there before the big Thought Bubble Festival this weekend. In this episode, he met Lizzy Stewart at the South Bank Centre for a wonderful chat about her new graphic novel with Avery Hill Publishing called WALKING DISTANCE. It's about her walks around London and the thoughts and ideas that cross her mind along with observations along the way. They also talked about some of her other comics and zines that deal with friendships, reconciliation, rekindling and more! Comic News Insider: Episode 993 is now available fJimmy is heading to Thought Bubble Festival in the UK next week and boy does he have a ton of interviews lined up. In a span of 3 weeks, he read about 3,000 pages of comics and 300 pages of an actual NON-comic book to prep for those interviews. In this episode, he's going to talk, review and possibly gush over a bunch of the stuff he's read. Amazing work by creators like Monica Gallagher, Laura Trinder, Benjamin Read, Rachael Smith, Barry Nugent, Mark Sable, Mariko Tamaki, Rob Davis, John McCrea, Reimena Yee and more! Jimmy recorded this a few days ago and has since read a few other comics to plan some last minute interviews. Fret not, you'll be able to hear about those when he interviews the creators!
