It's our San Diego Comic-Con animation special! CNI correspondent Maria Bernal-Silva sat down with the producers (Bruce Timm, Jim Krieg and Giancarlo Volpe) of the new Green Lantern animated series. Jimmy sat down with some of the Young Justice folks to discuss the animated series and its upcoming 2nd season. It's our San Diego Comic-Con movie special! Jimmy interviewed the cast of Sushi Girl and attended press conferences for Knights of Badassdom and Fright Night. The Sushi Girl interviews were 2 cast members at a time in a hallway at the Marriot Marina. Personal and intimate and fun!Knights of Badassdom was a big press conference so Jimmy just put the digital recorder on the table. You can hear the actors fine and the director repeats questions from the audience. Fright Night was a bit short and sound is kind of low. Still, some fun stuff with the cast! Hope you enjoy! Jimmy was part of a conference call with some of the stars of the upcoming Starz series,Torchwood: Miracle Day. On the call were cast members John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness), Eve Myles (Gwen Cooper) and Alexa Havins (Esther Drummond). They were joined by series creator/showrunner Russell T. Davies. So you know, conference call interviews work like this: A group of reporters are given a number to call in and are put in an automated queue. When your name pops up, the moderator (or sometimes electronic moderator) will introduce you like. "Next up we have Jimmy Aquino from Comic News Insider". While you are asking your question, the interviewees can hear you and so can every other person on the queue. But no one else can be heard until they are patched in. What you will hear is the entire call with questions from reporters from big outlets like E! and MTV to podcasters like me, bloggers. etc. Jimmy's questions come in around 30-40 minutes in. WARNING!
