Sharing Mindfulness from the Heart, with Sean Fargo

If and when we consider teaching mindfulness to others, it’s normal to experience fear, nervousness or hesitation. These emotions often arise from a sense of inadequacy. The collection of human emotions we often refer to as “imposter syndrome” isn’t necessarily bad or wrong. In fact, questioning our ability to help others can be a sign of grace, humility and compassion. In this episode, Mindfulness Exercises’ founder Sean Fargo discusses his personal experience with imposter syndrome, and how for him, the solution to teaching with confidence, compassion and courage entailed moving out of his head, and into the heart.  Sean Fargo is the founder of the online resource, Mindfulness Exercises, and the lead instructor for its Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training Program. This unique, self-paced certification course is accessible online. It includes live and pre-recorded teaching and mentorship sessions with Sean and the world’s most well-known voices in mindfulness.Students gain the confidence and skills needed to teach mindfulness in a way that's relevant to people's lives. The program empowers new teachers with a complete, brandable curriculum, suitable for teaching mindfulness to groups or individuals.
