In part 3  of our dialogue with Bethel attendee  Elijah Stephens , we discus some important theological issues brought up in our initial series Defecting From Bethel.⁣What  does Bill Johnson really believe and teach about Jesus Christ?  Does their message just have an unhealthy view of signs and wonders or should they be put into the same category of Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses? Tune into this important dialogue and be part of the conversation.

In part 2 we continue our discussion with Elijah Stephens who currently attends Bethel Church and flew out from Redding, California to be with us in studio. ⁣ ⁣ Elijah teaches BSSM classes and Bethel Equip Classes on Apologetics and the Bible and wanted to be part of the continuing conversation about the Bethel Movment ⁣ ⁣ Though Elijah has received the blessings of his leadership to come on the show and talk with us, he is not coming on as Bethel’s official representative. We discussed a broad variety of topics and while the issues surrounding Bethel are extraordinarily concerning and serious, we also hope to show they can be discussed in a civil manner the same way in which Walter Martin used to do whenever he was a guest on the Jon Ankerberg show. ⁣

Even as a young child he began to question and have doubts about major changes taking place within the LDS at the time. This eventually led him to leave the church in-spite of the intense sociological pressure surrounding him. We hope you all enjoy this conversation as much as we did!

Their passion is to bring awareness to New Age teachings and practices that have infiltrated Bethel, as it appears to be indicative of many Christians either welcoming, or being unaware of, New Age practices within the Church. Are New Age and Occultic practices irredeemable spiritual narcotics, or can we extract precious truths hidden within them because they really belong to the Kingdom of God? We want to invite all those who have attended, and especially those who currently attend, Bethel Church in Redding, California to listen in and be part of this important conversation.

Due to the overwhelmingly positive response from our latest series on the UPCI, we had our guests Jeff Sully & Andrew James Levesque back on to record another volume on the (U.P.C.I) United Pentecostal Church International. Listen in as we further explore how to understand those affected by U.P.C. policies like the holiness code and how to reach out to loved ones & family members in this movement. We hope you all enjoy this additional discussion on the U.P.C.I and we hope to explore this movement again sometime soon.

(United Pentecostal Church International) former members Jeff Sully & Andrew James Levesque continue our discussion on how the U.P.C.I evolved to where it is today & cover many of the cultish sociological & phycological aspects of within U.P.C.I movement. Finally, we discuss not only how both of them left the movement but where both of them ended up after leaving.
