After an hours-long search, police have arrested a 19-year-old man suspected of killing at least four people during a shooting rampage across Memphis, Tennessee. There are new developments in a troubling story out of Las Vegas, where a journalist was murdered, and an elected official is now in custody. Turning to sports -- it's a big day for football fans with the 103rd NFL season kicking off tonight.

In Canada, a massive manhunt is underway after a stabbing spree left at least 10 people dead, and another 15 wounded. In the Midwest, severe weather has led to at least one death over the weekend. Meanwhile, in the South, two days of rain led to severe flooding in the northern part of Georgia. Regardless of weather, a lot of people are traveling today -- or at least they're trying to. 12.6 million passengers were expected at airports across the country this weekend -- the busiest labor day since before the pandemic. In Puget Sound, near Seattle, nine people are missing and feared dead after a small plane crash. After nearly a week, the people of Jackson, Mississippi finally have running water -- but they still can't drink it.
