Changing trends in tobacco-related cancers

According to a report published earlier this week by the National Cancer Registry Ireland (NCRI), almost ten people every day in Ireland are being diagnosed with a tobacco-related cancer. Also highlighted was that smoking remains a major driver of cancer in Ireland, with more than 3,750 cancer cases directly caused by tobacco use in 2022.
