A 50-year-old mountaineering mystery
50 years ago, eight Americans were climbing Aconcagua in Argentina. Tragically, two of the party perished in their attempt to make it to the summit but the circumstances surrounding their fate have been subject to intense scrutiny and speculation ever since. Recently, the camera of one of the climbers was found and the New York Times has published the images from her final hours.
