God is who He says He is and He always keeps his promises. Rest in this truth. God’s Ultimate promise: 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32

In His MERCY God created refuge for ALL PEOPLE before we even knew we needed it. In His GRACE God provided the salvation we could never achieve on our own. God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive MERCY and find GRACE to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16

When you believe in a Sovereign Lord you pray BIG BOLD prayers. (Acts 4:23-31) “Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:13-16

Strength and Courage are not found within YOU but in knowing that God is With You. Now What? – 1. What step of faith is God calling you to take? 2. Why aren’t you taking it? What are you afraid of? 3. How will you lean into Jesus? 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. The ordinance of communion is a gift from God for his children by which they can begin to understand and experience the reality that they are: 1. Under a new covenant. 2. Part of a new community. 3. Purposed as a new creation.
