Paige Dimakos is the Chief Operating Officer of "The Draft Network," a media brand providing comprehensive coverage of College Football, NFL and the NFL Draft. Her diverse media background has seen stops at the Big 10 Network, ESPN Phoenix and CBS Sports. Darryl Strawberry - Turning Your Season Around
Darryl Strawberry is a former MLB player and the number one overall selection in the 1980 MLB Amateur Draft by the New York Mets. He made his MLB debut in May 1983 and became a seven-time All-Star for the Mets from 1984-1990. A member of the 1986 World Championship team, Strawberry’s 252 career home runs remain at the top of the Mets’ all-time list. In 1991, Strawberry signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers. A short stint with the Giants followed, and then Strawberry returned to New York and helped the Yankees win three World Series titles in 1996, ’98 and ’99. After many years of struggling with substance abuse and addiction, Strawberry has been sober for more than a decade now and spreads the Good News of Jesus across the country as a traveling evangelist. His new book "Turn Your Season Around" released in January 2021. David Tyree - New York Giants Super Bowl Champion
David Tyree is a Super Bowl champion and former wide receiver with the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens. He was selected in the 6th round of the 2003 NFL Draft (211 overall) by the Giants. He would spend six seasons with the Giants from 2003-2008 and finish his NFL career in 2009 with the Ravens. Tyree is known for making one of the greatest catches in NFL history with his famous 32 yard "helmet catch" against Patriots safety Rodney Harrison that kept the final drive alive and helped the Giants upset New England 17-14 to win Super Bowl XLII in February 2008. Brandon Carr - 13-year NFL Defensive Back
Brandon Carr has played 13 NFL seasons with Kansas City, Dallas and Baltimore. He was selected in the 5th round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Chiefs and played four seasons in KC from 2008-2011. In 2012, he signed a contract with the Cowboys and played five seasons in Dallas from 2012-2016. From 2017-2019, he was a member of the Ravens and in 2020, returned to Dallas and played three games with his former team until being released. In his first 12 seasons, Brandon never missed a game and played and started 192 straight games. Brandon also co-hosts the Iron Horse Podcast with David Walker. ..... Adam Engel - Chicago White Sox Outfielder
Adam Engel is an outfielder with the Chicago White Sox. He was selected in the 19th round of the 2013 MLB Amateur Draft by the White Sox after playing his college ball at the University of Louisville. On May 27, 2017, Adam made his MLB debut with Chicago against the Detroit Tigers. In August of 2018, Adam robbed three home runs in a six game span including back-to-back games against the Yankees. In 2020, he hit a career high .295 with 3 HR in 36 games and hit his first career postseason home run in Game 1 of the Wild Card Round against Oakland. Tiffany Byrd - Getting Healthy for 2021
Tiffany Byrd is the Director of Sports Nutrition at Wake Forest University. She is responsible for implementing the day-to-day fueling and hydration needs for all sports at Wake Forest. As a student-athlete, Byrd was a member of the 2002 National Championship gymnastics team at Alabama where she twice earned Scholastic All-American honors. Byrd holds a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama. Tim Johnson - Super Bowl Champion Pastor
Tim Johnson is the founding pastor of Orlando World Outreach Center in Orlando, Florida. He is also a former NFL defensive lineman who played 10 seasons with the Steelers, Redskins and Bengals. He was selected in the 6th round of the 1987 NFL Draft by Pittsburgh after starring in college at Penn State. He was a member of the 1986 Nittany Lions team that won the National Championship and finished undefeated. In the NFL, Johnson played three seasons with Pittsburgh and then moved to Washington, where he played six seasons and was a member of the 1991 Super Bowl winning Redskins team. In 1993, he was named to the Pro Bowl and finished his career in 1996 with Cincinnati. The Courageous Story of Matt Loede
Matt Loede is a Cleveland based reporter who has covered sports in Northeast Ohio since 1994. He has covered Major League Baseball, NBA, NFL as well as high school and college events. He's been a part of the Cleveland Indians coverage since the opening of Jacobs/Progressive Field in 1994 and covered LeBron James' two tenures in Cleveland with the Cavaliers. In 2020, Matt was named the Associated Press Radio Sports Stringer Lifetime Service Award. But today's podcast isn't about sports, its about a different type of battle. At 45 years old, Matt is currently battling Stage 4 Lymphoma, a blood cancer that he was diagnosed with in April of 2019. Matt has had over 20 chemo treatments and shares on today's podcast how his faith has helped keep him on solid ground during his fight against cancer. .....
