CMMSradio with Nick Haase, Co-Founder and Go-To-Market at MaintainX

This episode of CMMSradio features guest Nick Haase, Co-Founder; Go-To-Market at MaintainX discussing the origin and journey of MaintainX, why your CMMS must be "Stinkin Easy" to use as a product, the Deskless frontline workforce, and how using MaintainX can push ROI quickly for early adopters.  How data availability improved through the process for clients,  that Magic Moment, and why it's critical to deliver a solution that can "Do it really well; in a simple way" to deliver the outcomes clients need.  Core functions matter most (it sets your foundation) and organizational transparency makes a difference.   Ever wonder about the C-Suite and top-down vs bottom-up approaches to software selecting and implementation?  The "Why?" is very different from each perspective.  You cannot improve what you are not measuring while how that happens creates accountability.  The global procedure library, in MaintainX, speeds up iterative changes to near real-time which improves your ability to make impacts in measurable and incremental ways.  You get a dsired outcome by empowering all levels of the organization and it seems evident that Millennials want accountability, measurability, with autonomy, which creates this new digital transformation movement. MaintainX empowers people to use the system by leveraging a purposeful design resulting in a system they can put to work and drive instant value.    Where is the ROI in non-manufacturing environments? What’s the biggest change/trend in CMMS you see coming ahead?  What do you see as the role of #AI in CMMS? The FlowPath Journey with Griffin Hamilton - BTW what's a Puffin?

This episode features Griffin Hamilton, FlowPath Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), to discuss the origins of FlowPath and some the journey story.  These journey episodes can help you get to know a CMMS or Facilities Management Software vendor, how they came into existence, and a bit about what matters in the FlowPath approach to delivering for their clients. We talk pre-FlowPath, the gap (problem) Griffin identified, how it all came together to create FlowPath facility management software.  We discuss The Modern Facilities Management Podcast, that Griffin hosts (two years in), plus a few other topics like The Puffin, recent FlowPath news (the integrations news and the new logo designed entirely in-house), and Griffin's advice on CMMS deployment around where to start and what's really important. I still have to ask, what the heck is a Puffin? Thanks for tuning in, enjoy the episode.

CMMS to Get Ready for Winter

It’s that time of year!  Summer is over, Autumn is here and "Old Man Winter" is right around the corner.  How can your CMMS get you ready for Winter? If your CMMS or FM system has work orders there is likely an option to build recurring schedules for various maintenance tasks that come with each seasonal change and for those tasks you should perform while that season is unfolding. The goal is to prevent any seasonal mishaps that could happen in the winter by getting a few things on schedule starting now and keeping that schedule for subsequent years..  Now, in late October, we’re going from Fall to Winter.  Fall brings its own challenges with wind and debris build up around drain systems, for your buildings and grounds, while also giving you one last chance to inspect roof tops before they’re covered with snow, ice, or any heavy rain starts pouring down as winter arrives.
