108 Our Favorite Assessment - Part 2

Chad and Brian continue their conversation about the Core Values Index and focus in part 2 on how to use the CVI. When a client knows and understands his unique mixture of core values, it can help them navigate life with greater success. Here are four ways we use CVI with clients. First, with organizations, we use the CVI to help them hire for fit. Second, with teams, we use the CVI to help them know how to get the most of each member of the team. Third, with individual clients who are looking for a career change or job shift the CVI can shed light on what sort of job they'd find most fulfilling and energizing. Finally, with individual clients who want to be more fulfilled and energized in their current role. To take the assessment for free, go to coachapproachministries.org/assessment

107 Our Favorite Assessment - Part 1

Chad and Brian talk about their favorite assessment, the Core Values Index (CVI). The CVI is designed to help a person know how best they contribute. It was originally designed to help companies and organizations hire people who were a great fit for a particular role, what they call "A Players." They found that beneath having the skills and the experience needed to do well in a job, that what really drives success is the extent to which the role allows a person to express their unique combination of core values. The CVI has two modes: free and complete. The free version will tell you what your two primary core values are, for example: Builder/Innovator. The complete will tell you the scores for each of the four values. Each of the four has a score between 1 and 36. You can take the assessment at coachapproachministries.org/assessment
