Gallwey applied this to many sports, including tennis, gold, and skiing, and then applied it to the workforce, helping AT&T when their monopoly was broken apart. This is a great distinctive that can help your client plan forward action by knowing how to fix and tune various types of systems. Paul introduces us to four types of systems. Simple system - Ex. a toaster - I understand it and know how to fix it. Complicated system - Ex. a car - I understand some of it but don't know how to fix it. I need an expert. Complex System - Ex. an organization - I don't always understand it. Fixing it is not straightforward. I have to engage it and play with it. Probe Sense Respond Chaotic system - Ex.
