A common struggle for coaches and organizations that utilize coaching is how much content should we bring to the coaching relationship. In this episode, Brian and Chad discuss their own experiences with content, and their commitment to create more systems and frameworks as they coach in 2022.

Brian and Kevin Krosley talk about process coaching and three improvement questions to ask: What are we trying to accomplish? How will we know that a change is an improvement? What are the changes we can make that will lead to improvement? After those questions have been answered it is key to find a structured way to test changes on a small scale before implementing them for the whole organization. Kevin Krosley worked for 24 years at Sigma-Aldrich, a Fortune 1000 company. His various roles included strategy, business development, and then a global leadership position in process improvement. Kevin is an executive coach and consultant and also the executive pastor of leadership development and operations at First Free Church in Manchester, Missouri. Jane Creswell is a pioneer in the coaching field and one of the founders of Coach Approach Ministries. Whenever I'm with her, I can feel the power of her coaching knowledge. In this podcast, she describes how to do Group Coaching in such a succinct way that I think you should be able to give it a shot. Group coaching certainly has advantages, which are lower cost for those involved and can actually be higher income for those who do it. Here are some notes for Group Coaching. Identify a topic that is important to everyone in the group. The group comes together with the topic already set so that affinity is very high. Set up an expectation of how individuals should work in this setting. Ask the group to share successes in the area of this topic. While they share, listen for resonance in the group so you can narrow the topic. Pick one person to be the voice of the group and coach that individual. Tell everyone else to create an action for themselves as the one is being coached. At the end, every single person voices their action step. "Content-rich" coaching is when you know how to do/have done what the client is doing. For younger leaders suffering from all clarity, no perspective. They aren't aware of what they shouldn't be doing and ought to be doing. For older leaders with no clarity and all perspective. They see all the trees and it becomes incapacitating.
