This Sunday was Vision Sunday, and we took the opportunity to dream about the next 10 years, and lay out our plans for the future of EC. Each year we break our vision as a church into 4 categories: Our World, Our Nation, Our City, and Our Church.In this message, Pastor Jonathan speaks out of Genesis 15:5 where God called Abraham out of his tent to look at the stars in the sky. Real vision isn't about happening now, its about what's happening next. In moments where we doubt God's promise to us, sometimes we need to step out of our tents (our narrow vision of our own expectations and ideas), and begin to see things from God's perspective and vision for the future. //CONNECT//How did this message impact you? This weekend was Birthday Sunday as EC turned 10. Wow! 10 years of God's faithfulness. It truly was a weekend to reflect on the journey our church has been on, and dream ahead towards the future.We had the absolute honor of having Ps Peter Haas from Substance church bring us a word in season. In this message, Ps Peter talks about the power of sowing and reaping. We need to be intentional with the seeds we are sowing now, if we want to see the fruit we are hoping for.
