Originally scheduled as the Horizon keynote speaker for the second day of the HERE Summit, Mikhael Tara Garver is the Head of Experiential Entertainment for Category 41, a "global experience company that creates, incubates and syndicates location-based experiences." She's also a long time friend of the show and one of the few people whose careers in immersive & experiential has stretched long and wide enough to gain true perspective on this always-changing domain. Story Engineer Shawn Taylor, a founding author of www.thenerdsofcolor.org, and a founding organizer of the Black Comix Arts Festival, first hit my radar at the 2019 IDS thanks to Mikhael Tara Garver.
