Guided Meditation • The Middle Pillar & Israel Regardie

The Middle Pillar is a unique and profound meditation popularized by Israel Regardie. Regardie was a writer on Western esoteric traditions and a ceremonial magician during the 1900's. The meditation we explore in this episode is based entirely on Regardie's description in his book of the same name, released in 1930, entitled: The Middle Pillar. During his lifetime, Regardie was a prominent member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. One of the benefits of practicing The Middle Pillar is that it centers you and brings your energies back into balance. This is achieved through the visualization of spheres of energy along the center line of your body, called sephiroth. These spheres are activated using ancient Hebrew names, traditionally believed to represent emanations of the divine. As a memory aid, below are the five sephiroth which The Middle Pillar focuses on, and the respective divine name that is chanted, along with a pronunciation key in parenthesis.  The Middle Pillar: 1. Kether • "AHIH" (pronounced "Eh-he-yeh") 2. Daath • "YHVH ALHIM" (pronounced "Yod-heh-vav-heh E-loh-heem") 3. Tiphareth • "YHVH ALOAH ve-DAATH" (pronounced "Yod-heh-vav-heh El-oah-ve-Da-ath") 4. Yesod • "SHADDAI AL CHAI" (pronounced "Shah-dai El Chai") 5. Malkuth • "ADNI HARTZ" (pronounced "Ah-doh-nai ha-Ah-retz") Creative Codex is written & produced by MJDorian To support the show and gain access to exclusive episodes please visit: https://www.patreon.com/mjdorian Find out more at: http://www.mjdorian.com/

15: The Devil & Robert Johnson (Part 1)

The life of bluesman Robert Johnson is a tangle of myth, genius, and tragedy. He was so brilliant that after his murder in 1938, the only sensible explanation was that he sold his soul to the devil.  On this two part special, we untangle the lies, and inside of Robert Johnson’s life we discover the obsessive nature of creative genius. But even in that story, the devil still plays a part. After you finish the episode, head over to our subreddit and keep the conversation going! Guided Meditation • Inner Sanctum

It is highly recommended you listen to this meditation with headphones. This is a Guided Meditation that takes you on a journey into your Inner Sanctum. Your Inner Sanctum is a place deep inside your mind, a place of great peace and potential located in your unconscious mind. Enthusiasts of Carl Jung will notice this meditation is very similar to the process of active imagination that Jung often writes about.  This meditation is not aligned with any particular tradition or religion. It can be practiced by anyone. This guided meditation is not hypnosis, it maintains your conscious awareness while guiding you into a deep inner place from which you can perform inner work and exploration. This result is achieved through breathing work, visualization, and sound design. ---------- Written & Produced by MJDorian To support this podcast please visit: https://www.patreon.com/mjdorian You will also find exclusive Creativity Tip mini-episodes there and other goodies.
